Dr. Jorge Ramos is the new Associate Director for Environmental Education at
Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. Jorge is an accomplished educator
and scientist with deep knowledge of freshwater and coastal wetland ecosystems,
carbon cycling, environmental education and climate change science
communication. In addition, he has taken on leadership roles with the
Ecological Society of America SEEDS Program, SACNAS, the International Network
of Next-Generation Ecologists, (INNGE), NSF GK-12 Sustainability Schools
Program, and the Long-Term Ecological Research (LTER) network
